Plasma

Fibroblast

Plasma fibroblast therapy is a non-surgical, skin-tightening treatment that uses advanced plasma energy to trigger the skin’s natural regenerative process. It works by creating tiny micro-injuries on the surface of the skin, stimulating fibroblasts in the dermis to produce new collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. This visibly lifts, tightens, and rejuvenates skin, particularly in delicate or difficult-to-treat areas.

Plasma fibroblast devices ionise atmospheric gas to create a controlled arc of plasma energy. When applied to the skin, this energy contracts surface tissue and triggers fibroblast cells to begin the skin’s natural repair and tightening process. Unlike microneedling or laser, plasma does not penetrate the skin but works on the epidermal layer. This makes it ideal for superficial tightening and rejuvenation

At Bonita Aesthetics, we take a personalised, precision-based approach to every treatment. Our plasma fibroblast sessions are customised for your unique skin concerns, age, and healing capacity, with a strong focus on safe technique, comfort, and long-term results.

The plasma energy creates controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface, triggering the body’s natural healing response and stimulating collagen and elastin production. As the skin heals, it contracts and firms, leading to a smoother, tighter, and more lifted appearance. Common treatment areas include the eyelids, jawline, neck, smile lines, and forehead, making it a versatile alternative to more invasive procedures.

Results develop gradually over several weeks, with improvements continuing as the skin regenerates, offering long-lasting rejuvenation without incisions or injections.

 Skin Tightening

Non-surgical solution for the removal of unwanted skin lesions such as skin tags, milia, moles, and other benign irregularities. Using a precise plasma arc, the treatment targets only the lesion, leaving the surrounding skin untouched. The energy vaporises the unwanted tissue at a superficial level, promoting natural healing and revealing clear, smooth skin once the area recovers. This method is an excellent alternative to surgical excision or cryotherapy, offering minimal downtime, no stitches, and precise cosmetic results.

Lesion Removal

Plasma Fibroblast can be used strategically to refine and contour the nose without surgery. By applying plasma energy in targeted areas, the skin is tightened and contracted, creating a subtle lifting and slimming effect on the nasal bridge or tip. This technique is ideal for clients who want to improve the appearance of a bulbous tip, wide bridge, or mild sagging without going under the knife. While results are more conservative than surgical rhinoplasty, it’s a fantastic option for those seeking natural enhancement, reduced downtime, and a non-invasive approach.

Who Can't Get Plasma Fibroblast?

Medical Conditions

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding – treatment is postponed until after this period due to hormonal fluctuations and limited research on safety during pregnancy.

  • Uncontrolled diabetes – impaired healing may increase the risk of complications.

  • Bleeding disorders or current use of blood-thinning medications (e.g., warfarin, aspirin) – increased risk of bruising and delayed healing.

  • Autoimmune diseases or conditions affecting wound healing – skin may not respond predictably to treatment.

  • Active cancer or recent chemotherapy/radiation – compromised immunity and healing capacity.

  • Epilepsy – due to the risk of triggering a seizure with plasma flashes.

  • Severe cardiovascular disorders – for safety, clearance from a medical professional is required.

Skin Conditions & Recent Treatments

  • Active skin infections, including cold sores, acne breakouts, or open wounds in the treatment area.

  • History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring – plasma can trigger abnormal wound healing.

  • Extremely sensitive or overly thin skin (e.g., from long-term steroid use).

  • Sunburn or recent tanning increases the risk of pigmentation changes.

  • Recent injectable treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, or laser procedures — the skin needs sufficient healing time between treatments (usually 4–6 weeks minimum).

  • Use of isotretinoin (Accutane) within the last 6–12 months – this can severely impair skin healing and increase the risk of complications.

Other Considerations

  • Metal implants, pacemakers, or other electrical implants may interfere with the plasma device.

  • Severe skin laxity or deep wrinkles – plasma may not provide sufficient results, and alternative treatments may be recommended for better outcomes.

  • Unrealistic expectations – plasma fibroblast offers natural tightening and refinement, not surgical-level transformations.

Consultation and Skin Assessment

Every successful treatment begins with a thoughtful consultation. At Bonita Aesthetics, we take the time to understand your skin, goals, and expectations to ensure Plasma Fibroblast is the most suitable option for you.

During your consultation, we will:

  • Assess your skin type, texture, and condition to determine the best treatment areas and technique.

  • Discuss your concerns and desired outcomes in detail so we can create a personalised plan that aligns with your goals — whether it’s tightening the eyelids, refining the nose, removing lesions, or lifting and rejuvenating the skin.

  • Evaluate healing capacity and contraindications to ensure the treatment is both effective and safe for your unique skin.

  • Educate you on the procedure, expected healing timelines, and realistic results so you feel informed and confident every step of the way.

  • Provide pre- and post-care guidance to support optimal healing and long-lasting results.

This step is also the perfect time to ask any questions, express concerns, or discuss alternative treatments. If Plasma Fibroblast isn’t the best match for your skin, we’ll recommend other suitable options so you can make an empowered decision.

Clear communication and tailored planning are the foundation of excellent results. Your consultation is more than just a formality — it’s the beginning of a customised journey toward smoother, firmer, and rejuvenated skin.

Numbing

To ensure maximal comfort throughout the treatment, a numbing cream will be applied and left on for approximately 30 minutes. Most clients describe the sensation during the procedure as mild heat or tingling.”

Plasma

The treatment is performed using a plasma fibroblast device, which delivers controlled arcs of plasma energy to the skin’s surface. This process creates tiny carbon crusts (dots) that appear immediately in the treated area. You may feel a mild heat or tingling sensation during the procedure, which is generally well-tolerated

Mild redness and swelling can be expected for 2–3 days, depending on the treatment area. Tiny carbon crusts will form and naturally shed within 5–10 days. As your skin heals, collagen production is activated, and you’ll notice gradual tightening and rejuvenation over the following 8 to 12 weeks
